LUMIÈRES by St. Louis Was Showcased During Milan Design Week

LUMIÈRES was an immersive crystal installation by the historical crystal manufacturer Saint-Louis, the "first crystal manufactory in continental Europe established in 1586." For this project, the company collaborated with Nonotak Studio to bring the experience to life during this year's Milan Design Week. The event ran for six days and was located in the Cloister of Santa Maria del Carmine in Milan's Brera district.

The immersive crystal installation was multi-sensory as it incorporated the interplay between lights, texture in the shape of materials, and sound. It invited viewers to explore this delicate balance. Artistic experiences combining light and sound have become "an artistic signature" for the design duo Nonotak Studio which is why Saint-Louis enlisted them as collaborators.
