Sketched Ceramic Branding

Illustrated Tequila Bottles Feature Doodles of the Mayan Gods

The way that spirits are packaged tends to be more creative than other alcoholic beverages are, but these illustrated tequila bottles set themselves apart even further. With the glass surface whitewashed completely, they appear as ceramics that you don't typically see on the liquor store shelf anymore.

To enhance this earthenware aesthetic, Hannah Hart has modeled these vessels with voluptuous forms. Similarly shaped to vintage growlers, the real inspiration behind the containers is the Talavera handmade pottery of Mexico, complete with handles for easy pouring. Swing-top caps further that old-fashioned look, but illustrations make them seem contemporary. Casting back once more, the designer drew up the images of ancient Mayan gods to brand these illustrated tequila bottles. The combination of different eras makes the concept product appeal to various tastes and ages.
