If you've ever wondered to yourself, "if things could speak, what would they say?" German photographer Bettina Güber takes this idea and runs with it by giving the objects that surround her a voice of their own.
Entitled 'If things around me could speak...' Bettina Güber photographs everyday household items (some more everyday if you're a woman) talking to themselves or to each other. By simply giving these objects googly eyes, Güber is able to give these objects a personality that was never there before, she then adds a speech bubble and fills it with humorous dialogue. As it turns out, the items we surround ourselves with hold a lot of contempt for us.
