Recycled Scrap Wood Furniture

Scrapile

This home furniture was created with waste wood that was grabbed, so to speak, by two guys, Bart Bettencourt and Carlos Salgado, who turned it into really nice pieces of work.

Bettencourt and Salgado, whose shop called Scrapile is located in Brooklyn NY, have developed a unique method of collecting and converting or repurposing discarded scraps of wood from the city's woodworking industry. The designs are unique because of the variety of the wood grain used in the furniture and the result is really amazing.
