Perched dramatically on a steep coastal ridge in Chile's La Vega de Pupuya region, the 102-square-meter hillside home design adopts a bridge-like configuration that appears to float above the terrain while maintaining minimal environmental impact. The design's most distinctive feature is its elongated wooden rib system that forms both structural support and an exterior walkway, allowing independent access to each living space while creating a continuous engagement with the surrounding panorama. Strategic use of operable wooden shutters provides dynamic control of light and privacy.
