See's Candies Created a Special Heart-Shaped Chocolate Box

See's Candies created a special heart-shaped chocolate box that puts a modern spin on a classic design. According to the James Beard Foundation, it was in 1861 that the first heart-shaped box of chocolates for Valentine's Day was introduced. As such, 2021 marks the 160th anniversary of heart-shaped Valentine's Day boxes, as well as the 100th anniversary of See's Candies.

The Centennial Heart Tin is printed with a story inside of its lid that shares details about the 50s-inspired artwork adorning the collectible packaging. The Centennial Heart Tin was inspired by 1950s wrapping paper used in-store by See's Candies and it contains an assortment of decadent chocolates, including the all-new Milk Raspberry Heart Truffle. This decadent treat pays tribute to 100 Valentine's Days with Sees with signature milk chocolate, berry buttercream and dark chocolate chip pieces.
