Integrated Office Architecture

The Hankook Technodome Features Merged Spaces

It seems like many companies these days are trying to find ways to bring large organizations together, which is exactly what Foster + Partners attempted to achieve with the Hankook Technodome.

The building is located in Korea, and from an aerial perspective it appears to be shaped like a stadium with an oval layout. Inside, "the dynamic and versatile positioning promotes visual and physical interaction between laboratories and departments," according to DesignBoom. Visitors are also allowed to enter the building and tour around to look at the various projects being done by the company. The area is still a concept as of now, but the plan is for everything to be complete by 2016 so that workers can make the most of the space as soon as possible, and hopefully improve their collaboration with each other as a result.
