Originally built in the 1920s as a duplex in Montreal, the Gouond House offers multiple unique design features that are rarely seen in traditional architecture in the area.
The design team completely reinvented the space, bringing a new life to the duplex to create a single family home. The authentic brick facade adds a classic yet loft-like appeal that was completely restored to maintain the exteriors amazing historic character. By adding a black metal extension the designers provided the home with a contemporary contrast that also made room for the luxurious rooftop terrace.
The interior of the Gouond House features a bright and open floorplan that is washed in natural light, with modern and local finishes to create a fresh and inviting atmosphere.
