Exercise-Oriented Gaming Systems

Goji Play Aims to Make Cardio More Engaging

Blue Goji has created Goji Play, a new gaming system designed to get you to enjoy cardio. Blue Goji was founded by Kai and Charles Huang, two of the co-founders of Red Octane, the company that made 'Guitar Hero.' Blue Goji works using a fitness monitor and two batons with buttons on them. The monitor is used to track your workout statistics, which in turn help you improve your performance in-game.

The harder you work out, the better your performance in the Goji Play games will be. For example, if you push it harder than normal, you will get a speed boost or a more powerful punch. Goji Play works using an iOS app and is currently compatible with the third generation and up iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone 4s and higher and iPod Touch fifth generation. The system features 12 games (more are on the way) and is available now for $99.
