Bompas & Parr's 'Future Forest' Boasts Multi-Sensory Experiences

To promote Westfield Stratford City as a fun, family-friendly destination for the summer, Westfield Stratford City and Westfield London teamed up with Bompas & Parr for the an immersive 'Future Forest' installation.

At the Future Forest's Fruit Cloud, people are invited to don a raincoat and enter an edible mist, which stimulates the senses with a taste of natural flavors like peach, apple and blackberry. In this space, people are also treated to a unique audio experience that is meant to express the sound of "tartness," which contrasts with the "sweetness" of the cloud.

The installation also boasts an exhibition that shows off plants that create electricity, among other stations that have the potential to inspire awe and wonder about the natural world in people of all ages.
