This French Estate Features a Simple Design Plan

Agency Brengues Le Pavec have designed the 'Maison ART,' a French estate located in Saint Clément de Rivière.

The architects chose to accentuate the home's beautiful location, as well as the natural declination of the site. More specifically, the architects take on a "less is more" approach with the design, allowing the emphasis to be put on the environment. Though understated, the home continues to be sophisticated and luxurious.

The site's slope is accommodated by arranging the house on two very specifically oriented levels. Wide terraces allow for views of the surrounding hills, as well as the Montferrier historical center in the distance. The spaces between the terraces have been decorated with vegetation; the plant life is expressed more eloquently with the introduction of glazed passages, which mediate the green transition.
