A Parisian Parking Lot Will Soon be Transformed into Green Homes

French architectural firm Oxo Architects is teaming up with Sou Fujimoto to transform a Parisian parking lot at the the edge of the city into a floating forest village that offers green housing as well bridge for pedestrians to cross a local highway all in one design.

According to Fast Coexist, the project is set to be ""a floating village in the middle of a forest" that will feature a glass building that will offer housing on the roof top as well as a pedestrian route to cross the nearby freeway. The space will be surrounded by over 1,000 trees to offer green space in the bustling urban metropolis. The idea is that the building's design will offer more residence, street access as well as green space all in one design.
