The Folium Collection Comprises Nature-Inspired Tableware

Made of materials that have come from the earth, the Folium line pieces also reference nature in their very shapes. The collection consists of a series dishes that range from curved bowls to upturned plates and flatter platters, all seemingly inspired by the shapes of leaves and raindrops.

Accompanying the vessels are a pare of pebble-like salt and pepper shakers, as well as fin-like cutlery that looks like foliage from trees and plants. The fork especially is reminiscent of a ginkgo. There are no straight lines in the Folium collection; everything is curved and its fluid forms are only reinforced by the whitewashed finish of each item. The set appears to be more sculptural than practical, serving as an elegant centerpiece on a minimalist dining table.
