Flowing Fragments is a Collection of Sculptural Furniture

The Flowing Fragments collection is a series of sculptural furniture pieces. Created by Richard Yasmine, the works resemble art yet are entirely functional. Each piece is made entirely out of manufacturing offcuts, which helps reduce waste in the manufacturing industry.

The collection is currently on display in Milan's Galleria of 5VIE. Flowing Fragments consists of 32 items made of alternative slabs of sedimentary and basaltic stones. The varying slabs create a unique striped effect, giving the sculptural furniture texture and a sense of flowing movement. The range is inspired by the remnants of Greco-Roman civilization as seen at today's preserved sites. Arched patterns and curved lines characterize the Flowing Fragments series to create standout focal pieces.
