Fantastical Flower Floats

This Flower Festival in the Netherlands Featured New Stunning Sculptures

Corso Zundert, a flower festival and parade that happens at the end of summer in the Netherlands every year, debuted a series of shockingly beautiful floats for attendees to appreciate.

While the past flower festival had sculptures that were themed around Vincent Van Gogh, this year's was marked by enormous animals and beasts taken straight from myth. This includes an incredibly detailed gold lion that's covered in different shades of yellow flowers and a horned dragon that's made from lilac and white-toned blossoms.

Other artworks included in this year's Corso Zundert show a fox family, a bee hive, a vicious-looking orange dragon that's tied down and a whimsical structure that has castle-like points. Each uses flowers as its main component, working to celebrate the end of the summer season and bring a sense of joy and amazement to those in attendance.
