3D Festival Posters

This Giant Climbable Poster for Stockholm's Malmo Festival is Made of Plywood

Festival posters are an essential part of getting the word out about summer music events, but this one created for the Malmö Festival 2014 by Snask is a posters of a different kind. Instead of being 2D and printed on paper, the giant festival advertisement is made in 3D from blocks of plywood. The impressive sculpture took 14 people over 900 hours to put together and considering the amount of work that was put into the sculpture, it's good to hear that the installation will also be on display at the festival.

The sculpture is big enough so that people can walk and climb all over it. Even though you might not be able to read all of the text from the ground level, a hike up a hill will make the whole message visible—it's bound to be in a lot of the Malmö Festival photos this year.
