Video Hub Embellishments

Facebook Live Lets People Decorate Their Videos Like Snapchat

Facebook Live might be the latest video hub feature to take such platforms as YouTube and Periscope, but it is borrowing elements from other outlets as well. Most notably, it has embraced the playful element of Snapchat that enables people to customize their footage with captions, illustrations and stickers. By doing the same, Facebook Live has the added benefit of adding even more individual flare to such content.

Interestingly, this Facebook Live feature also extends to the emoticons and comments left by viewers. These interactions will be left on the video and play real-time. That is, wherever the comments were left, that's where they will appear when the video is played again at a later time and date. Filters and doodles will appear in another update.
