'Exile' by José Ángel Vincench is an art installation that is based on typography.
The sculpture is comprised of five mobile homes that each takes form of a letter used to spell out the word 'exile.' Vincench is a Cuban artist that completed this enormous project, which is made out of trailers equipped with an entrance.
The art installation is self-explanatory as viewers can read the letters. The uninhabited trailers used in this project are meant to make viewers think about the reasons why people live outside of their own nation. It's not about political issues but rather a simple meaning about living in a state of isolation.
Exile by José Ángel Vincench is being showcased in Cuba at the 11th Havana Biennale until June 11.
