Projected Pixel Artwork

The Every Possible Photograph Installation Works with Small Images

The Every Possible Photograph installation by artist Jeffrey Thompson is a mixture of multiple pixelated images. Thompson layers pixel upon pixel in his piece, fitting as many of the squares as he could within each quadrant.

While Every Possible Photograph was quite strenuous and perhaps even ludicrous, he wished to transform what was deemed as "totally absurd" into "utterly impossible." He as such drew from black and white pictures via 10 x 15 pixels.

Laced within the display are images of himself, "...somewhere in the set of images and alongside billions of "meaningless" others are a photograph of me..." He has therefore accorded the exhibit with a personal element, one that will fall below the radar of most viewers.
