TAO Introduces the Echo Hall Design in the Shandong Province

Chinese design firm Trace Architecture Office has just completed the Tide's Echo Hall. It functions as an events and dining area within a range of structures along the coast. The space is described as a 'multifunctional cultural and tourism hub.' It is comprised of three pavilion buildings that hold a conference and exhibition space, a food court and restaurant, and the coastal promenade.

The studio explained the design, "The duality of the natural environment – the vastness of the ocean and the serenity of the woods – provides a rich source of inspiration for the architectural design. As visitors navigate through the spaces, the boundaries between interiors and exterior are continually redefined, creating a dynamic and layered spatial journey that responds to both the natural and built environment."
