Midpoint Between Guitar Hero and Guitar Lessons

The E-Z Chord Kit

Johnson Smith has just patented the midway point between traditional guitar lessons and the Guitar Hero video game.  Their E-Z Chord kit invention allows guitarists to combine the simplicity of button-pushing with the strumming of actual guitar strings.

The E-Z Chord device allows aspiring musicians to replace the finger maneuvers of their "fret hand" with numbered button pushing.

It is really a simple looking device which can be attached and detached to the neck of a guitar in minutes (see picture).

For the price of $41.98, this piece is available with an instructional DVD guide and 24-page songbook.
