Dynabook's latest Panther Lake laptops introduce user-replaceable batteries on the 14-inch XP9/XP7 and 13.3-inch X9/X7 models, allowing owners to swap battery packs through a sliding access panel without tools. Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, both Copilot+ PCs are designed for on-device AI workloads while extending long-term usability through replaceable battery modules. The 14-inch model weighs 999 grams, while the 13.3-inch version weighs 948 grams and delivers up to 17 hours of video playback and 32.5 hours of idle operation.

The laptops meet MIL-STD-810H durability standards and include Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI, Ethernet, microSD, and Dolby Atmos support. AI privacy features detect unauthorized viewing attempts while local AI processing keeps sensitive workloads on the device rather than relying on cloud services. Dynabook also introduced the 899-gram G9, which shares the same processor and durability certification but omits the replaceable battery design. The lineup launched in Japan on August 7.
