The Dream Downtown Hotel Resembles Connect Four

The Dream Downtown Hotel resembles the Connect Four game many played as a child. Handel Architects is the firm and interior designer used for this newly renovated and recently opened project.

The hotel is in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood, better known as the meatpacking district, with 314 guest rooms in its 12-storey building. The ring-shaped circles on the building's stainless steel facade are made from two layers, with the outer drilled with holes creating balconies for the guests. This re-designed building has two restaurants, boutiques, can hold events and four floors were removed to create a pool and beach patio.

The most remarkable aspect to this hotel is when the light hits the steel exterior perfectly, because the circular windows look like bubbles floating in the air. This dreamy hotel has a futuristic vibe and gives guests boundless experience.
