New York-based studio Colony boasts a collection of designer homeware that has been developed in collaboration with 17 creatives. Featuring a wide range of tapestries, seating, lighting and other miscellaneous objects, the collection was launched in conjunction with the NYCxDesign festival.
The stylish capsule of designer homeware was created to simultaneously exhibit the harmonious and chaotic relationships in the world. Appropriately dubbed 'Balanced Unbalanced,' Colony's showroom in Tribeca houses curious furniture silhouettes — from "topsy-turvy upholstered chairs" to "textiles with swooped threads." The incredibly creative forms are tied to names like Allied Marker, Hiroko Takeda, Vonnegut/Kraft, Fort Standard and more.
The color palette of the designer homeware is curated around the tranquil-inducing nuance of deep blue.
