Depop and Spotify announced a first-of-its-kind partnership that connects secondhand fashion and music, and invites fans to discover talent through exclusive artist-curated Depop shops and a Spotify playlist. Six artists, each representing a different music scene, were chosen to curate a personal collection of pieces from their own wardrobes, and fans can shop their looks and, at the same time, perhaps discover a new favorite artist or song while listening to the exclusive playlist. Storefronts from participating artists like Amira Elfeky, Estevie, Eve, and Frost Children go live after the artist-curated Spotify playlist.
In celebration of this launch, Depop and Spotify will host a two-day activation at the Hollywood Premiere Motel in Los Angeles, complete with live performances, discover interactive genre-inspired closets, curated fashion edits, and more.
