Heritage Grain Chocolates

Maestrani's Swiss Dark Chocolate Tablet Contains Amaranth & Blueberries

Dark chocolate tablets are commonly set with various dried fruits and berries but this new creation from Maestrani introduces a heritage grain to the mix. The Maestrani Blueberries & Amaranth Tablet combines a base of dark Swiss chocolate with blueberry pieces and crunchy, protein-packed amaranth. Thanks to its dark chocolate base, the bar is vegan, as well as free from gluten, as amaranth is a gluten-free grain alternative.

While many consumers are familiar with the benefits of dark chocolate, a rise in plant-based eating has inspired the creation of inventive dark chocolate confections that cater to niche dietary needs and offer even more health benefits.

At ISM, Maestrani will also be showing other chocolate tablets, such as the Matcha & Mint Tablet, which features vegan-friendly white chocolate.
