Relaunched TV Fonts

Dalton Maag Reintroduces an Aged Form of Lettering

Dalton Maag has reintroduced a font that was previously intended for TV. The font is called Oscine, and "has been tweaked and optimized for today’s print and high resolution digital environments, and is now available in two weights, regular and bold," as stated on DesignBoom.

The font looks very clean and simplistic, avoiding anything too cursive or hard to read. In today's cluttered world, it's becoming more and more common for things such as fonts to take on a more straightforward look. The goal is that this font will be used to signify something with character, but still be easily understood without too much flair.

Overall this font will be perfectly suitable for the modern world, making its adjustment from old-school TV to the online quite smooth for most people. Photo Credits: designboom, daltonmaag
