Commissioned by PostNL, the national postage service in the Netherlands, these Daan Roosegaarde-designed stamps depict the country as a massive network of lights. The blue and yellow stamps come in sheets of ten and are the first collaboration between the renowned designer and the national postal service.
In order to create the mesmerizing stamp set, Daan Roosegaarde referred to satellite images and aerial photography by Dutch astronaut André Kuipers. Roosegaarde describes his final product as "ominous and poetic at the same time."
