Archaic Designer Renovations

George Nelson's Custom House Designs Gets a Modernized Update

George Nelson is known for his architectural projects and custom house designs like this gorgeous Kirkpatrick House. The architect conceived the project alongside Gordon Chadwick who helped to construct all of the home's personalized elements. Nelson's Kirkpatrick House has recently undergone a renovation and has been restored to its original state by current owner David Corner.

Corner's project took ten years to complete and showcases the home's history and distinctive beauty. Though vintage in its visual aesthetic, the custom house design is injected with modern accents throughout its interior. The designer residence also features vast views of its surrounding topography and is fitted with a set of custom furnishings from the likes of Eames and George Nelson himself.
