Rad Remote Office Buildings

The Crab Work Hub Can Be Set Down in Any Setting

One can immediately see several intelligent applications for the Crab Work Hub concept as ways to establish productivity centers in some of the unlikeliest of places. In conceiving this project, designer Alp Germaner was greatly influenced by the mechanics, the construction and the appearance of lunar landers. Such an influence is certainly discernible.

With a generally triangular footprint, this temporary-looking structure is quite stable on its feet. It's flanked by fixed staircases from every corner that ascend to the hydraulically raised first floor. This open concept area can be adapted to the team's needs while the second floor is more prescribed with bathrooms and meeting rooms. There's more fine-tuning to be done to the Crab Work Hub, yet one can already envision it as a bustling center for remote research.
