The Corques Sofa by Lucie Koldova is made using cork materials as well as regular fabric for the seating section. The shell, however, uses this distinct cork to give the piece of furniture a bit of an edge.
Rather than just being used to seal off wine bottles, many designers are thinking of other ways this material can be employed. Lucie Koldova has definitely pushed the boundaries with the Corques Sofa, as I don't think a whole lot of people would have pegged cork as a great material for furniture. She also does a great job with using a bright bold red color to contrast the more dull hues of the cork, which makes this sofa the perfect statement piece in the middle of a living room.
