Former Church Offices

This Converted Office Space Used to be a Church

If you can believe it, this converted office space once used to be a church. The building was transformed by BBVH Architects, updating the interior so that it became comfortable, up to code, sustainable and suitable for web design firm Acato to use.

Before it was renovated, the interior of the church read like a maze, with awkward corridors and small spaces that needed to be opened up. The design was separated into three separate units, turning the former church hall into Acato's new office space and the two remaining units into residential apartment units. Although the original church design posed many challenges for the architects, one great thing that remained from the original building are the tall towering ceilings.
