The American actor is infamous for his uninhibited sex life -- as depicted in the TV show 'Two and a Half Men' as well as in the media coverage of his life. What was not known until relatively recently was the actor's HIV diagnosis, a fact that he talks about in the somber advertisement. In the commercial, the actor states that he once believed he was invincible as many others do, offering a sobering reminder that sexually transmitted infections are very real consequences of unsafe sex.
This condom advertisement forgoes the humorous or sensual interpretations that most brands take when promoting safe sex, and instead opts to reveal a sobering yet extremely important aspect of intimacy that is crucial knowledge for people who are sexually active.
