The Malibu Rum 'Coco-nect' cup was developed in just 12 weeks by the brand team at Absolut in collaboration with Internet of Things agency SharpEnd. The Malibu Rum 'Coco-nect' cocktail cups implement WiFi and RFID technology in order to create a more streamlined drink ordering experience. While they were tested this past summer, the brand is hoping to launch them wide-scale for the 2017 summer festival season.
