Hajime Sorayama Unveils 'Space Traveler' Art Exhibition in Tokyo

Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama has revealed his new solo art exhibition, 'Space Traveler.' The art exhibition contains imaginary narratives in a futuristic design combined with human physicality. 'Space Traveler' was built upon Hajime Sorayama's 'Sex Matter' art exhibition in 2020.

The art exhibition illustrates themes regarding the intertwined ideas of nature, human intelligence, the human body, and the concept of time with futuristic landscapes in a post-human era. Many of the artwork contains silver-colored human-sized robots in the form of large canvas paintings and sculptures. Additionally, the sculptures are colored silver and gold. A standout piece in the art exhibition is Hajime Sorayama's first film-based artwork made of CG technology. The art exhibition will be showcased across NANZUKA UNDERGROUND and NANZUKA 2G in Shibuya. The art exhibition is also held at 3110NZ by LDH Kitchen in Meguro. The art exhibition will be available from April 4 to May 27.
