Casa Cork represents an ambitious collaboration between Rockwell Group, the Cork Collective, and Corticeira Amorim. The installation presents an immersive exploration of cork’s versatility and potential as a sustainable design material during Milan Design Week.
Casa Cork transforms a traditional exhibition space into a living laboratory, where nearly every element — from furniture and lighting to wall treatments and decorative objects — is crafted from cork. The centerpiece of the installation is a 3D-printed replica of a cork oak tree created by Factum Arte. This element serves as both a symbolic and educational anchor, as it emphasizes the material’s renewable origins and carbon-sequestering properties.
Complementing the physical displays at Casa Cork are contributions from renowned designers like Tom Dixon, the Campana Brothers, and Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, alongside emerging talents.
