New Balance & J.Crew's Canyon Road Pack Draws Southern Inspiration

Footwear label New Balance works in conjunction with fashion label J.Crew on a new collaborative capsule entitled the Canyon Road pack. The joint pack draws inspiration from the location that it is named after as it is complete with old artwork and located in New Mexico's Santa Fe. The inspiration is infused into the newest iteration of the 999 and the 999r sneaker models through the colors. The tones that adorn the new sneakers recall the American Southwest location -- there are blue skies that hover over rustic red canyons and cliffs.

The shoes are constructed from a blend of both leather and suede materials over the uppers with accents done in leather and branding details in the form of the signature 'N' logo. To round it all out are the white midsoles that contrast against the rustic uppers and rubber outsoles.
