Oreo and BTS have partnered on the Oreo & BTS Cookies, which is a brown sugar pancake-flavored release inspired by Korean hotteok. The cookies combine Oreo’s first purple-colored wafers with a creme filling based on the sweet street snack. Packaging graphics reference South Korean street markets, while the wafers feature 13 embossments created by BTS to mark the group’s 13th anniversary.

The embossments include member names, a BTS light stick graphic, and cookie designs that form a hidden message across multiple wafers. Oreo stated that embossment combinations vary between packs. The collaboration also includes QR-enabled packaging linked to a digital fan message campaign. The cookies launch through online presale on June 1 before arriving at retailers on June 8. Oreo stated the release will roll out across more than 80 markets worldwide.
