Creator-Focused Browsers

The 'Brave' Web Browser Allows For Direct Funding Support to Creators

The Brave web browser is a new open-source platform that is starting to attract many YoutTubers in the wake of the website's revised community guidelines. The Brave web browser was created by Brian Body and Mozilla co-founder Brendan Eich, and was based on Google's source code program Chromium. Unlike other browsers though, Brave was built to block intrusive ads and create a less chaotic online experience.

Brave also comes equipped with a browser based payment feature known as Brave Payments. This payments tool is what seems to be drawing creators to the browser as the tool allows users to set up a wallet that can be filled with tokens, and used to support sites or creators in a more direct way. This new way of payment is almost perfect for YouTubers and allows creators with benefit regardless of ad revenue. It should be noted that YouTube rules currently bar creators with under 10,00 lifetime views from receiving ad revenue. Payments made through the Brave web browser can me automatic, one enabled, or done manually for specific sites and creators.
