Animal-Print Suede Sneakers

Brain Dead and Converse Join to Create a One Star Sneaker Iteration

Brain Dead and Converse work in collaboration once again -- this time, the duo takes on the One Star sneaker silhouette as the main foundation. The collaborative effort follows its previous work together, also spotlighting the same animal-printed theme. This time, the sneaker also comes in a polka dotted version as well. The graphic design pattern was first utilized in 1983 to incorporate a camouflage print, followed by a glow in the dark print in 1988.

The new iterations of the One Star sneaker are constructed with suede materials throughout the uppers, decorated with animal or polka dot prints in monochromatic hues, and branding details. Notably, the shoe's lining reads phrases such as "Who Controls The Men" and "The Same Elsewhere." The collaborative sneakers are set to drop online and in-store at Brain Dead beginning February 7th.
