WhitlePig's Boss Hog IX is the Latest to Join the Series

WhistlePig presents the ninth installment of the annual Boss Hog series with the new Boss Hog IX drink, which is a straight rye whiskey. It is made with inspiration from the Muses of ancient Greek mythology. It creates its own cask finishes and there are two, which are inspired by a trip to Greece over the summer.

The WhistlePig team highlights the Greek dig nectar and the farm-scratch tentura, which is a Greek liqueur that is made from a blend of clove, orange peel, honey, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Head Whiskey Blender at WhistlePig, Liz Rhoades states, "In visiting Greece this summer to source ingredients and learn from experts at an original tentura distillery, we were drawn to the distinctly unique flavors of Greece and how they would interact with the bold flavor of our aged Rye Whiskey."
