Anatomy-Inspired Furniture

The Bone Lounge By Dima Loginoff

Russian designer Dima Loginoff, developed the “Bone Lounge” project, which is a sofa inspired by the structure of bones. The sofa has a hollow interior and a porous surface.

As you can see in the pictures, it has multi-coloured stripes that give it a stylish look. The concept for this design began in 2007, and made its debut at the Grand Prix Awards.

The only negative critique I have for this sofa is the great distance between the two seated people on the sofa. I can see it in coffee shops, but not in a home.
