The World Bodypainting Festival Presents Colorful Art on Human Canvases

The 2015 World Bodypainting Festival recently took place in Poertschach, Austria and focused on three themes to guide the artists in creating magnificent body art. The themes were "Games People Play," "Surrealism - Reshape Your Reality" and "Fetish Couture."

Over 30,000 visitors gathered to see the immaculate creations from artists such as Christiane Rempel of Germany who created a Facebook-inspired piece of body art. Other artists such as Sani Knieitinger recreated a modernized religious piece of art representing Adam and Eve.

The World Bodypainting Festival has been a global event for the past 18 years and this year’s themes did not disappoint. The vibrant artworks created a masterful display of talent and the intimate use of human canvases embraced human body figures in all shapes.
