This Boathouse by Weiss Architecture is in the Canadian Wilderness

Located in the heart of Ontario on Georgian Bay, this pavilion and boathouse by Weiss Architecture and Urbanism is a stunning setup that is perfect for summer watersports. Featuring blackened timber for the boathouse, this project is built on cedar pier that connects to the granite shoreline of this private island.

The boathouse by Weiss Architecture is meant to appear as if it is floating on and out of the landscape, something that was decided upon in order to keep the natural surroundings as the main focal point.

The boathouse's natural cedar interior, illuminated with natural light and orange lighting, is lined with bicycles, kayaks, windsurfing and other sports equipment, all secured with wooden brackets, while the outside is ready with a bar and adjacent seating area.
