The Boat Project by Lone Twin Uses Random Objects to Build a Boat

The Boat Project by Lone Twin is not the average yacht. It's made with random wooden objects such as a guitar, tennis racket, puzzles, chairs, rulers, picture frames and the list goes on.

The UK-based company Lone Twin, Gary Winters and Gregg Whelan, asked people to donate items to contribute to the construction of this eclectic boat-but not just any items. People were asked to bring items that were attached with sentimental value and memory to create a vessel with "living and floating archives or people's stories and memories'.

After collecting enough goods, the 30-foot yacht set for sail from Chichester with Mike Barham as captain and a trained crew by his side. After making its maiden voyage throughout the summer, the yacht will return to the area and will be available for the public to check out.
