Bi Silla is a furniture design by Silvia Cenal Idarreta that uses only high quality fabrics for the completion of the seating. The goal with this collection was to also make people feel quite sheltered when sitting down, instead of open to the public.
Since the chairs are intended to be placed in areas like lounges, it's important to create a design that gives people some sense of privacy. To do this, the seat wraps around on either side, and extends down towards the ground at the back of the chair. It's this wraparound look that allows people to feel more closed off than how they would feel in a regular chair. Plus, the soft fabric certainly helps at the same time.
