Bentley Home Creates a Table with Paper Factor and Frederico Peri

Bentley Home is known for its luxe furniture designs and now it unveils a table that is made from paper marble as its latest innovation. Marble is a captivating visual to any home but the production process damages the environment and contributes to air pollution by creating marble dust.

The company works with Italian company Paper Factor and designer Frederico Peri to unveil their first furniture design. It is dubbed the Thames table which is made from wood, paper, and other cellulose fibers. Founder of Paper Factor Riccardo Cavaciocchi described the use of cellulose fibers in the tables as "an innovative evolution of paper-mâché." The base is a wooden frame and then layered with the Paper Factor material.
