Max Siedentopf's Beneath the Surface Suggests Looking Deeper in Offices

Although underwater photo spreads are nothing new, the Beneath the Surface photo series is pretty interesting. Instead of the typical mystical theme or even everyone's favorite 'Alice in Wonderland' ones, this one focuses on a work setting. From the lunch room to a desk, it recreates an office space underwater.

Shot by Berlin-based photographer Max Siedentopf, the Beneath the Surface photo series isn't his first submerged shoot. It is his most modern one, however. I especially like how the title implies that there is more 'beneath the surface' of an office and the people who work there than first meets the eye. It suggests that we must look past superficial qualities to see the deeper relationships that exist.
