Valerie Green the brand's marketing director explains, "We wanted to make something really good for them, but also a treat. Plus it is safe, [has] no alcohol and [has] no carbonation." Instead the beverage is made with meat trimmings, bone broth, veggies, and brewers yeast. Once the mixture has cooked, beer is added to deepen the flavor while the alcohol content is killed off due to the mixture's high cooking temperature. A bottle of Flat12 Paws will be available for purchase with all the money being donated to an animal shelter.
