Perth's Matisse Beach Club Celebrates The French Painter's Legacy

"A gathering of fluorescent cabanas makes up Matisse Beach Club, Perth's exclusive new nightlife spot that is drawing in visitors with its sleek and futuristic look."

Inspired by the French painter, this disco design references the artist's use of bright and pure hues and recreates his chromatic color schemes with the use of fluorescent lighting.

Matisse Beach Club fuses a multitude of fixtures and finishes together to create a stunning spot, designed for rest, relaxation and entertainment. The venue features a mix of wood, polished plaster, resin and white wash timber materials that are accented with bright paint and fluorescent lighting.

This geometric structure is designed by Jenlin Chia and her team at Oldfield Knott architects. Stand-outs from the space include VONDOM'S 'Adan' tables and Teresa Sapey and Ramon Esteve's stool designs.
